ARCHIVE Fusion : The original PM Method class, breaking the mold of exercise classes in the Birmingham area. A highly focused and energetic class targeted to train motor control, strength, mobility and muscular endurance. This class marries the the principles of Pilates, barre, strength training, and primal movements. Each class is unique and carefully choreographed to ensure a creative spin on the classics.
Barre Fusion : Barre Fusion combines exercises at the barre with mat Pilates and core conditioning routines for a low impact yet powerful workout. This class is the epitome of fun using musicality, creative content, and movement variations sure to keep you wanting more. Barre work uses your own body weight for resistance and focuses on small concentric, eccentric, and isometric movements to challenge your muscles and endurance. Together with the principles of Pilates and a variety of core strengthening exercises, this class will leave you feeling strong and accomplished!
Cardio Barre : Cardio Barre takes Barre Fusion and adds in fast paced, higher intensity "Cardio Bursts" to raise your heart rate throughout class. It is for ALL fitness levels!
FORME45 : FORME45 is a class created for those who want to enhance muscle tone without the bulk. Get immersed in this 45 min, musically driven, total body workout that uses weights and body sculpting moves to work muscles both big and small. Increase your strength, confidence, and energy to enjoy a vibrant life!
Power Yoga : Vinyasa yoga is a creative style of yoga that involves linking poses together in a flowing sequence using the breath. The word "vinyasa" comes from Sanskrit and means "to place something in a sacred and special way". In vinyasa yoga, students are taught to connect each action to the next, using their breath to guide their movements.
Pure Pilates :
STACKED : This class methodically stacks exercises one on top of another, continuing the addition of new exercises each round (e.g. ex 1, ex 1+2, ex 1+2+3 etc). The layering of complimenting exercises builds while increasing endurance and stamina in the muscle groups involved. One stack of exercises focuses more on upper body moves while the other focuses on more lower body moves. Cardio blasts are placed between stacks to increase your HR and boost the sweat factor. You can expect a full body workout with options for heavier weights as well as low impact or higher impact variations of exercises. Shoes are optional for this class.*
